about

Linda Spielman

I make jewelry, by hand, one decision at a time. I use mostly sterling silver, sometimes stones, a bit of 14kgf and occasionally copper. I’m drawn to round shapes, asymmetry, soft finishes, and texture.

I came to metalsmithing after a long career in business. What started as a few classes became a new creative chapter. Years later, I’m still pulled in by the process: sawing, forming, soldering, and setting. Each piece takes shape through small decisions at the bench, some planned, some intuitive. Nothing fussy. Just intentional design and subtle detail.

I design and build every piece in my Chicago studio.
